On the 3rd of October at the Boris Hristov House of Culture – Plovdiv will be shown the solo piece KOKORO of the Italian choreographer Luna Cenere.
“Kokoro” is a Japanese word which can be translated as ‘inner self’ and is closely related to the mind and heart. The body converts into a projection screen of moods, memories, and illusions. The flesh loses its shape, frame and corporeality we usually see. A soul leaves footsteps on stage.
Using a unique dance vocabulary, Luna Cenere unveils how definitions of reality seem to float in a vacuum. Today, nothing is entirely ‘good’ or ‘bad’, ‘beautiful’ or ‘ugly’. Let’s take the human body as an example – it will be under a very different spotlight on the stage.
Kokoro will be shown on the 3rd of October at the Boris Hristov House of Culture – Plovdiv at 20:30 h. For viewers above the age of 18. Tickets are available to purchase at ЕasyPay and online via EpayGo.
