The world-famous choreographer returns to Plovdiv on 9, 10, 11 & 12 October with one of the biggest productions in dance history – TRANSVERSE ORIENTATION.

Following the worldwide success of THE GREAT TAMER Dimitris Papaioannou, the star of the international dance scene, is creating his largest performance to date. For the first time in our recent history, a Bulgarian cultural organization supports a world-class artist in the field of contemporary performing arts. ONE DANCE WEEK is among the prestigious list of co-producers of a large-scale project. These include the Onassis Foundation in Athens, the legendary Sadler’s Wells Theater in London, the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris, the Biennale of Dance in Lyon, the Naples Festival, the Grec Festival in Barcelona, ​​the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, Torinodanza and others.

The Bulgarian audience will be among the first in the world to have the opportunity to see the new work of one of the most successful and significant artists in the field of contemporary dance.
